When the weather is hot, keep a cool mind. Starting Thursday, September 7th members of the Ingalls Safety team, along with Culture Connectors,will hand out icy treats around the shipyard. Cold bottles of water are also available throughout the week in bins located throughout the yard.

Hydration is key in the summer heat!

Remember to drink plenty of fluids today. It is important to stay hydrated throughout the day, regardless of whether you feel thirsty. You may not feel thirsty until you have lost about 3 pints (1.5 liters) of water.
