VISION 

The vision of CODE is to develop a collaborative network for STEM professionals in various departments of Ingalls Shipbuilding as well as promoting STEM careers for college students and schoolchildren of all ages. Additionally, CODE is meant to foster an inclusive and engaged work environment through networking, mentoring, development and growth, recruitment and community outreach.  

MISSION 

CODE is an employee resource group that is committed to: 

• Supporting a collaborative network for STEM professionals in various departments at Ingalls Shipbuilding 
• Acknowledging the accomplishments of its members  
• Promoting the advancement of STEM careers both at Ingalls Shipbuilding as well as the surrounding community via outreach programs   
• Promoting employee engagement and leadership via networking, professional development, and volunteering  
• Supporting the company’s business objectives in recruitment and retention efforts
