Jackson County and surrounding areas are seeing a rise in COVID-19 cases. Please see the information below for updated guidance on COVID policies.
If you test positive for COVID-19:
- You must quarantine at home for up to five days.
- Ingalls no longer offers COVID-19 quarantine pay. Standard leave and absence policies apply.
- If you are still ill and unable to return to work after the five days of quarantine, contact the Leave Desk by phone at 228-935-1009, or by email at leavedesk@hii-ingalls.com for medical leave of absence paperwork.
As a result of rising case numbers, the CDC recommends wearing a mask indoors in public for those who are and are not vaccinated. People may choose to mask at any time.
Medical officials recommend staying up-to-date on vaccines and getting tested if you have any symptoms of COVID-19. Testing by QuadMed staff is available at the QuadMed Clinic at Gate 1, the Family Health Center in Gautier or one of numerous offsite locations, such as Singing River Health clinics, Urgent Care clinics, CVS and Walgreens.
