Reminders at-a-glance

As of today, January 12, 2022, below are a few reminders of recent updates to our ongoing efforts to minimize the impacts of coronavirus to our workforce:

Quarantine for Positive Test

Per the recent updated CDC guidance, an employee testing positive for COVID-19 should isolate for 5 days. Ingalls has updated its quarantine policy regarding positive COVID tests. Visit the Ingalls Coronavirus webpage for important detailed information regarding eligibility for quarantine pay.

Reporting Offsite Positive Test

If you test positive at an offsite location and not at our onsite testing facility, contact Ingalls Medical at 228- 935-1922. You will need to provide a copy of your test results and a copy of your vaccination record in order to qualify and, if eligible, receive quarantine pay.

Mask Guidance

In response to the current wave of positive cases of the Omicron variant, Ingalls Shipbuilding employees, vaccinated or not, should wear a mask when indoors and when social distancing is not feasible. For more information, visit the Ingalls Coronavirus webpage.

Testing

COVID-19 rapid testing is offered for employees and dependents onsite at the Ingalls COVID-19 Testing Center, located on the west side of Jerry St. Pe’ Highway, Monday – Friday from 6 a.m. – 4 p.m. Rapid test results will be received within 15-30 minutes.

Vaccines

Visit the Ingalls Coronavirus webpage for a list of community vaccine locations.
