COVID-19 Test and Quarantine Pay Update- January 6, 2022

In accordance with the updated CDC guidance, Ingalls has updated its Quarantine Pay Policy.

If you are fully vaccinated and test positive for COVID-19, you will be paid for up to 5 days of quarantine pay for your first occurrence.  Employees who test positive for COVID-19 and are not vaccinated or have been vaccinated, but test positive for COVID-19 for a second time, are not eligible for quarantine pay and will adhere to the standard leave and absence policies.

Employees testing negative will report to work or use standard absence policies if they choose not to report to work.

Employees who are instructed by Ingalls to undergo COVID-19 testing onsite as a result of being in close contact with a confirmed positive case will be paid through an issued COVID-19 hospital charge number during the COVID-19 testing process, including for time for screening, testing and waiting for results.

Employees choosing to be tested offsite, or those working at locations other than Mississippi, will adhere to the standard leave and absence policies.  Employees testing positive should provide results to the Ingalls Medical staff.  Further details and updated guidance will be provided when available.
