Stay safe this holiday season

As the holidays approach, we should all remain vigilant of coronavirus as cases of the Omicron variant are being diagnosed. While scientists are still studying and assessing the risks and potential impact of this variant, the best precaution you can take now is to get your booster shot before the upcoming holidays, when more travel and indoor gatherings are expected.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention now recommend that all adults should receive the booster shot six months after receiving the second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or two months after the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Additionally, the CDC has said that individuals can choose any of the three boosters now authorized regardless of their original shot.

Ingalls will offer vaccines and boosters onsite Dec. 9 and 16 from 1-4 pm at the old HR building. No appointment is necessary.

If you receive a booster shot, please help us with tracking by sending a photo of the front of your card by email to IngallsVaxCard@hii-ingalls.com or text to 228-355-1472.
