In October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month serves as a time for reflection, collective action and steadfast support for a cause that touches countless lives. The Ingalls Shipbuilders Health is a Priority (ISHIP) employee resource group (ERG) raised awareness by participating in the Breast Cancer Walk in Moss Point.
“This was a great way to get out in the community, get some exercise and provide resources and information to the community,” said Jason Hinkel, cost estimating analyst, Contracts & Pricing. “Breast cancer survivors shared their stories and stressed the importance of early detection to make this event a huge success.”
ISHIP promotes the improvement of the workforce's health and wellness physically, mentally, and financially through education and participation. ISHIP supports and aligns with the company's health and wellness initiatives.
