The Big Picture:
In honor of National Nurses Week, there was a special appreciation lunch to celebrate our dedicated shipyard nurses.  This opportunity recognizes their commitment to safety, care, and resilience.

Why It Matters:
Our nurses respond to health concerns, preventing injuries, and ensuring our workforce stays mission-ready. They are equipped to handle the physical demands and health risks of shipyard work. From emergency care to everyday wellness, they keep our workforce healthy, productive and prepared.

What They’re Saying:
Emily Davis, Nurse: "Safety and injury prevention are vital components of the shipyard. Ingalls is committed to providing shipbuilders with injury treatment, follow up, and referral services. As nurses, we're grateful to be a part of this process and to aid in accomplishing these goals."

Paul Kirkpatrick, Nurse: "We greatly appreciate being recognized for National Nurses Week.   We take pride in managing the medical needs of shipbuilders, from initial care for injury through the follow-up required for a successful and safe return to work."

To our shipyard nurses, thank you! Your care keeps us moving forward.
