After 25 years at Ingalls, Avery Moore, manager, fire prevention and safety, still comes to work each day with purpose.
“Knowing that the things that my team and myself do helps protect people and assets fuels me,” said Avery. “From mentoring to recognizing the quiet wins of my peers, I remain grounded by experience and driven by impact.”
Avery is a Culture Connector because of the positivity of the program. He enjoys making a difference on his team and in the shipyard.
“I once was in their shoes,” said Avery. “So it’s a constant reminder to guide with both knowledge and empathy.”
