Ingalls Shipbuilding serves as the regional sponsor of Extra Table’s March of the Mayors, a continued commitment to food security in our communities. Join us through the month of February to collect food, volunteer and fight food insecurity. As we continue to be inspired by the success of the “Extra Full” event, we hope that shipbuilders see their contributions and volunteer efforts as vital pieces to our community and to its success in combatting hunger.
Led by mayors from over 50 cities, this statewide canned food drive will culminate in regional food box packing parties throughout the state during the week of February 24-28, engaging local communities in the fight against hunger.
Packing Day Details
DATE: Friday, February 28
TIME: 9 a.m to 12 p.m.
LOCATION: Lyman Community Center, 13472 U.S. 49, Gulfport

Throughout February, shipbuilders are encouraged to donate canned fruit, canned tuna, and granola. Donation boxes are located around the Ingalls campus at the following locations:
