This season, Ingalls shipbuilders are supporting children and families through two meaningful annual holiday programs: the Salvation Army Angel Tree and the Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence (GCCFN) Angels. Together, these initiatives help bring warmth, joy, and essential items to families across our community.
Angel Tree
Each Angel represents a child who may be in need of clothing, shoes, toys, or other essentials. By adopting an Angel, you can provide items selected specifically for that child, making the holiday brighter for a family facing hardship.
Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence Angels
The Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence provides a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for individuals and families affected by abuse or unsafe situations at home. They offer compassionate, trauma‑informed services that help survivors heal, seek justice, regain stability, and rebuild their lives with resilience.
How to Participate
Each department has an Angel Ambassador who coordinates adoptions and ensures each Angel is taken care of.
If you do not know who your Angel Ambassador is, email CommunityRelations@hii.com and we will connect you!
Shipbuilders – thank you! Your support makes a meaningful difference for families across the Gulf Coast and helps create moments of comfort and care for those who need it most.
Stay tuned next week as we spotlight our annual toy drive and share more about how you can participate!
