As we continue to strengthen our Operations organization and position our teams to execute our shipbuilding commitments, we are pleased to announce the following leadership changes.

Dianna Genton has been promoted to Hull Director. A 23-year Ingalls shipbuilder, Dianna brings extensive experience across engineering, manufacturing and operations. Earlier in her career, she worked in Naval Architecture and Research and Development, where she was instrumental in the design and implementation of Shipyard of the Future initiatives.

For the past three years, Dianna has led operations in the center of the shipyard, including CSA, CSA 3, Stacking Hall and Outfitting Hall. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong focus on developing people, improving processes and building teams capable of delivering results.

Clayton Brown has been promoted to Sheetmetal/Joiner Director. Clayton is a 14-year Ingalls shipbuilder who began his management career in Joiner in 2017 as a general foreman. He has continued to take on roles of increasing responsibility, progressing through superintendent and general superintendent positions.

Clayton holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Mississippi State University and brings significant project management and manufacturing experience to his new role. He has supported programs across Ingalls' shipbuilding portfolio, giving him a broad understanding of our products, processes and production needs. In his new role, Clayton will focus on strengthening execution across Sheetmetal and Joiner while continuing to develop our people and improve performance.

Donald "Dell" Simmons has been promoted to Construction Manager, Unit Construction. Dell is a 26-year Ingalls shipbuilder with extensive manufacturing and hull experience. He previously served as a subject matter expert at the Gulfport Composite Center of Excellence and has been a member of management since 2005. During that time, he has progressed through positions of increasing responsibility, including general superintendent within the Hull organization. Dell has worked across the programs in Ingalls' portfolio and brings a deep understanding of unit construction and shipyard production to his new role.

As Construction Manager, Dell will focus on driving progress earlier in the construction process, increasing unit completion before erection and improving the flow of work downstream. This emphasis will help our teams reduce carryover, improve efficiency and put subsequent stages of construction in a stronger position to succeed.

Kevin Roossinck, Manager of Weld Engineering, will assume an expanded role leading automation and welding services within his current organization. Kevin and his team will focus on identifying and implementing innovative automation opportunities that improve the way we build ships. As part of this expanded responsibility, Kevin will build greater organizational focus around automation while also assuming responsibility for welding services.

These leadership changes strengthen our Operations team with experienced shipbuilders who understand our people, our processes and the work required to deliver for our customers. Please join us in congratulating Dianna, Clayton, Dell and Kevin on their new and expanded responsibilities.
