Ingalls is excited to announce that the application period for its annual science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) grant awards is now open for the 2026â2027 academic year.
Schools and educational nonprofits across Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi are invited to apply for individual grants of up to $5,000 to support hands-on learning, inventive classroom projects and strengthened STEM education opportunities.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Friday, November 6, 2026
Who Can Apply for a STEM Grant?
Public and private schools, educational programs and nonprofit organizations with STEM-focused programming are welcome to apply â particularly those serving Kâ12 students. This year, we are especially interested in projects that help students connect STEM learning to real-world careers, including those tied to local industries like shipbuilding.
