I am pleased to announce the promotion of Tyler Martin to DDG 1000 Program Manager. Tyler brings extensive experience to program leadership, having most recently served as Ship Program Manager for USS Zumwalt (DDG 1000), where he was responsible for leading all aspects of the ship program’s cost, schedule and technical performance, including coordinating master schedules, overseeing production, managing risk and change processes, and supporting major program events such as inspections, trials and delivery milestones.

Tyler has also held multiple leadership roles across program management, construction management and supply chain, consistently delivering measurable results. He previously supported USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62), as well as Planning Yard Services as a Material Program Manager, where he contributed to improved material readiness and supported critical recovery efforts. His earlier roles in Subcontracts and Contracts Administration further strengthened his ability to drive supplier performance and streamline program processes. Throughout his career, Tyler has been recognized for significant cost savings, process improvements and his ability to build strong partnerships across technical, production and supplier teams.

Tyler holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in management from Henderson State University. He is a graduate of the LegacyBuilders and was designated by the U.S. Navy as an honorary crew member of DDG 62.

Please join me in congratulating Tyler as he steps into this new role.
