As we prepare to celebrate America's 250th Independence Day, please note the following holiday schedule.
Ingalls will be closed Friday, July 3. All shipbuilders will receive eight hours of holiday pay.
To qualify, represented shipbuilders must meet the following requirements:
Thursday, July 2: Work a minimum of five regular hours or use PTO
Monday, July 6: Work a minimum of six regular hours or use PTO
Hours worked before the start of a scheduled shift are paid at time-and-a-half and do not count toward the five- or six-hour regular-time requirement.
Shipbuilders may use vacation to cover regular hours not worked in increments of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 8 hours.
Management will inform shipbuilders if their work area follows a different schedule. If you have questions about schedule or pay, ask your supervisor.
