For the fifth consecutive year, Ingalls will honor Juneteenth by sponsoring free admission to the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum and the Museum of Mississippi History in Jackson.
From Friday, June 19 to Sunday, June 21, you and your family have the opportunity to explore both the Museum of Mississippi History and the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum.
At the Museum of Mississippi History, visitors journey through over 15,000 years of the state’s past, exploring the theme “One Mississippi, Many Stories” through immersive galleries, artifacts, and personal accounts.
Next door, the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum highlights the people and events that shaped the Civil Rights Movement, honoring the courage of those who fought—and gave their lives—for justice and equality.
Can’t visit on Juneteenth? Admission to both museums, including special exhibitions, is free every Sunday.
