I am pleased to announce that G.A. Aspito II has been hired as Director of Logistics for Supply Chain Management, bringing nearly three decades of comprehensive logistics, distribution and leadership experience to Ingalls.
In this role, G.A. will oversee the strategic direction of logistics operations, ensuring the accurate flow of materials, strengthening inventory management, and supporting timely delivery in alignment with our shipbuilding programs. Under his leadership, the team will focus on improving operational efficiency, advancing modern logistics practices, and enhancing performance through data‑driven decision making and continuous improvement.
With a proven record of driving operational excellence, G.A. brings extensive supply chain leadership experience across multiple large-scale operations. His background includes senior roles in logistics and distribution management, leading high-performing teams and delivering measurable improvements in quality, cost and customer service.
G.A. holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Marketing from Saint Louis University. In addition to previous recognition for his innovative leadership, he has also achieved multiple operational turnarounds and major productivity improvements throughout his careern.
