Telling the stories and showcasing the work of our shipbuilders is what drives the Integrated Communications and Stakeholder Engagement (IC&SE) department here at Ingalls.
Recently that work was spotlighted by the Public Relations Association of Mississippi (PRAM) at the state conference, held in Starkville, MS. The IC&SE team represented both the Gulf Coast PRAM chapters and Ingalls, by bringing home a PRism award for the campaign Do What is Right for the Warfighter and an Award of Excellence for the commemorative video honoring Hurricane Katrina’s 20th anniversary published in 2025.
“Being recognized at the state level is an honor, but the real privilege is getting to tell the stories of our shipbuilders. Every day, our team has the opportunity to shine a light on the people whose skill, resilience and pride drive this shipyard forward. These awards reflect the talented and dedicated IC&SE team behind the work—and the shipbuilders who inspire us to do it.” - Kimberly Nastasi, Vice President, Integrated Communications & Stakeholder Engagement
The Public Relations Association of Mississippi (PRAM) is a statewide professional organization that brings together public relations practitioners, students, and educators across Mississippi.
