Ingalls Career Counseling Sessions provided shipbuilders with guidance, tools and support to navigate long‑term career growth. Marla Cooper, manager, Organizational Development, and Kimberly Johnson, project management, Human Resources & Administration (HR&A), offered assistance with resumes, interview support and educational pathways to be successful.

Why it matters: Shipbuilders walked away with clearer direction, stronger and renewed confidence in their career paths.

What Shipbuilders Are Saying:
Christopher R. Cazaubon, Designer, Engineering: “My session with Marla and Kimberly was highly productive. They helped me craft a targeted, single‑page resume, offering strong feedback to make my experience stand out. They also emphasized the importance of networking and prepared me for upcoming interviews with practical guidance. I feel much more confident in my job search.”

Alfredo Diaz, Designer, Engineer: “It was a great experience to have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with Marla. She gave me excellent advice and guided me in the right direction to reach my full potential and continue growing professionally.”

Tequila Matthews, Administration Generalist, Engineering: “My career counseling session last week was a great experience. Marla and Kim were kind, helpful and gave me valuable insight into programs and classes that can support my career and education.
