Ingalls-built USS Tripoli (LHA 7) refuels Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Rafael Peralta (DDG 115) during replenishment at sea in the Philippine Sea, Feb. 10, 2026. The Tripoli Amphibious Ready Group—USS Tripoli, USS New Orleans (LPD 18), USS San Diego (LPD 22)—and the 31st MEU are conducting routine operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet area, working with allies to ensure a free and open Indo-Pacific.
USS Tripoli is named in honor of the U.S. Marine Corps victory against Tripoli at the Battle of Derna during the First Barbary War and was commissioned at Ingalls in 2020.
