With the 80th pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts select Justin Walley, son of Pipe superintendent Oliver Walley!

“The feeling is hard to describe. It’s a blend of excitement, pride and relief,” said Oliver. “I am extremely proud of him and all his accomplishments. His hard work, sacrifices and dedication are paying off.”

Fewer than 1% of college athletes ever reach the NFL, but Oliver saw an unwavering determination in his son to defy the odds. Relying on the traits he honed as a shipbuilder, Oliver instilled those same qualities in his children to help them forge their own paths to success.

“I stressed to him paying attention to detail, having great discipline, and being prepared and consistent across professions,” said Oliver. “What makes me proud is seeing how much he poured into the sport to be the best he could be. To have his passion validated by being drafted in the NFL is truly inspiring.”

Congratulations to the Walley family!
