The Ingalls Education Assistance Program is dedicated to supporting shipbuilders in advancing their careers through higher education. By offering up to $5,250 per year, the program helps shipbuilders pursue college degrees or professional certifications, making it easier to achieve their professional goals.

While the pilot phase announced in July has concluded, the Education Assistance Program remains an invaluable resource. Enrollment will remain available during specific windows, which will be announced in the spring and fall of each year.

Shipbuilders can receive assistance for up to two courses per enrollment period, with funding determined based on final grades. The program provides assistance for a period of six months at a time, and students must submit an official transcript by February 1 each year to remain eligible.

Whether you’re planning to further your education with a degree, pursue an advanced degree or enhance your skills through certification, the Education Assistance administrator is available to guide you through the process.
