With more than 60 entries submitted for the 2024 Holiday Card Contest, we are proud to announce the artist selected for this year’s holiday card is Casey Jane Webster!
Casey Jane, 8 years old, is the granddaughter of quality inspector Wayne Webster, a 16-year shipbuilder at Ingalls.
“My favorite thing [about my drawing] is the flag because it stands for America,” said the second-grader, adding that she also loves dogs and spending time with her “PawPaw.”
This year, the Holiday Card Contest was open to all shipbuilders’ family members between the ages of 5-11. Entries were voted on in-person at the Shipbuilder Resource Showcase in October and on the IngallsConnect App.
Casey Jane’s artwork will be featured on the 2024 Ingalls holiday card and in the upcoming issue of Anchor, both of which will be mailed to all Ingalls shipbuilders and community partners. Additionally, all submitted artwork will be enlarged and displayed around campus throughout the holiday season.
Congratulations, Casey Jane!
Thank you to all the young artists who contributed their bright and festive artwork to this year's contest and to the shipbuilders who support and encourage their creativity.
