To ensure everyone's safety while working in our shipyard, we ask that you stay to the right when walking. This simple practice allows vehicles to pass safely, reducing the risk of accidents.

Please keep the following safety tips in mind when moving around the shipyard:

  • Stay to the Right: Always walk on the right side of pathways to allow vehicles to pass on the left.

  • No Phone Use While Walking or Driving: Looking at your phone while walking or driving in the yard is strictly prohibited. Stay focused on your surroundings.

  • Be Aware of Your Surroundings: Stay alert and avoid distractions like headphones or mobile devices.

  • Make Eye Contact with Drivers: Before crossing or walking near vehicles, make sure drivers see you.

Together, by actively addressing these safety measures, we can continue to build a culture of safety that prioritizes every Ingalls shipbuilder and the critical role we play in serving our nation’s military.

Let’s work together to Zero In On Safety.

Zero Fires. Zero Injuries. Zero Damages. Zero Compromise.
