Ingalls Shipbuilding participated in the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce’s 34th annual Industrial Trade Show on May 14, 2024. The trade show is designed to provide local businesses with ideas, information and connections to grow their customer base.
In addition to the trade show, shipbuilders Terry Creel and Jeremy Meyers, both procurement managers in Supply Chain Management, participated in a panel discussing issues specific to local suppliers and the industrial base.
“The Jackson County Chamber’s Industrial Trade Show is always an important engagement for our team,” said Scott Weldon, vice president, Supply Chain Management. “It is an opportunity to meet and network with suppliers, both existing and potential new connections. Ingalls has suppliers in every single state in the country. Those located right here in Jackson County are a vital component of our success.”
