Anna Bourdais has been promoted to director, Apprenticeship Programs, effective immediately. She will be responsible for developing, leading and maintaining the strategy and execution of the Ingalls Apprenticeship Program. This position will work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to create and implement successful approaches for recruiting, onboarding, developing and retaining apprentices in support of the organization’s business goals and for effectively managing and operating the Ingalls Apprentice School.
Anna brings 24 years of relevant knowledge and experience to this position including maritime apprenticeship curriculum development. Beginning her career at Avondale, Anna has worked in various roles within the Human Resources and Administration organization. She most recently served as manager for Organizational Development.
Anna holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master of Education with an emphasis in Adult Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of New Orleans. She is also a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
