ISHIP is partnering with the American Heart Association to provide CPR training across the shipyard. The bystander CPR training could double or triple the chances of survival for someone who goes into cardiac arrest.

Volunteers will be available to teach you the basics through hands-on demonstrations that can help save a life. Classes are open to all shipbuilders.*

The training class will be offered from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on three dates and at six locations across Ingalls:

  • 9/22/22 – Cafeteria, CSA III; Deepwater Conference Room in LBTF
  • 10/6/22 – Admin Cafeteria; Bougainville Conference Room in Admin 2
  • 10/11/22 – Bldg 11, Singing River Island; Cole Conference Room in EDC

The American Heart Association is the worldwide leader in first aid and CPR, educating more than 22 million people each year in the life-saving technique.
