Mental health is just as important as your physical health, especially when you factor in stress and uncertainty from the pandemic. It affects how we think, feel and act, and helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others and make choices. Be aware of your mental health and watch for these early indicators of mental health issues:

  • Eating or sleeping too much or too little.

  • Pulling away from people and usual activities.

  • Having low or no energy.

  • Feeling numb or like nothing matters.

  • Feeling unusually confused, forgetful, on edge, angry, upset, worried or scared.

  • Experiencing severe mood swings that cause problems in relationships.

  • Lacking energy to perform daily tasks at work and at home.

  • Experiencing severe mood swings that cause problems in relationships.
