This summer, Ingalls interns are leading Lights of Hope, a service project supporting the American Cancer Society. For a $10 donation, you can purchase and decorate a luminary bag in honor or memory of someone impacted by cancer. All bags will be featured in a special on-site display this August β a powerful tribute of light, love, and unity.
Why it matters:
Cancer impacts all of us - whether we have loved ones, fellow shipbuilders or members of our own communities fighting the battle. This is a chance to stand together, support a cause that impacts many and build momentum for the October Breast Cancer Awareness Walk in Moss Point.
π£How to join:
- Buy your bag online (no cash): Buy a Luminary Bag for $10 each through our secure fundraising portal
- Decorate your bags! Choose to decorate individually or with your team as an office engagement activity
- Return completed bags to CSA3, Admin 2 Lobby or your department intern by July 31
