What to Know: Starting this week, cold water bins will be available across the shipyard every Monday and Thursday through September.
Symptoms to Watch For:
- Muscle cramps, fatigue
- Dizziness, blurry vision
- Nausea, excessive sweating
- Pale or flushed skin
- Fast, shallow breathing
What to Do:
- Hydrate before your shift — then drink 1 cup of water every 15–20 minutes
- Skip alcohol, caffeine and sugary drinks
- Wear light, breathable clothes
- Rest when needed
- Watch out for each other
