Ingalls will recognize the spring holiday this week. On Thursday, March 28, all represented shipbuilders will have a five-hour work day. No-drive times will be in effect from 11-11:15 a.m. Non-represented shipbuilders will work a full eight-hour shift on Thursday.
Ingalls will be closed on Friday, March 29 and Monday, April 1. All shipbuilders will receive eight hours of holiday pay for these days.
Only those who have been pre-approved to work will be allowed to work during the holiday break. Management will inform shipbuilders if the schedule in their specific work area is different from the schedule above. Represented shipbuilders are reminded of the work requirement before and after the holiday in order to qualify for holiday pay.
