Race to the finish line to help raise money and awareness for the Mississippi Special Olympics by participating in the Ingalls 5K on the Causeway!
Registration is open now for the 12th annual event, which will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024.
The event begins on the Singing River Causeway at 7:30 a.m. with a warm-up and opening statements. The race, which is a 5K on a fast and flat course, starts at 8 a.m. It’s followed by the fun run for kids.

Register before Wednesday, April 3 for early t-shirt pickup on Wednesday, April 10 in the Admin 2 Lobby from 10 a.m. to noon.
The department and/or team with the highest percentage of shipbuilder participation will be awarded the coveted Vice President Challenge Cup.
This annual 5K helps raise thousands of dollars for Special Olympics Mississippi each year. The event is family-friendly and hosts nearly 1,000 athletes each year.
All nine of Ingalls employee resource groups (ERGs) will also be represented at the race. Come meet other members of the ERGs!
