Putting feedback into action is how we sustain and strengthen our 85-year legacy at Ingalls. It’s important to pilot new ideas and measure their impact and progress. This allows us to pursue operational excellence as a team.
When shipbuilders return after the holiday shutdown on Monday, January 8, 2024, Ingalls will return to a work schedule of 5-days, 8-hour shifts (5x8s) for all. Attendance, early departures and late arrivals were considered in the decision to return to the 5x8s schedule.
