As we head into the summer months, it’s important shipbuilders have resources to keep their kids entertained, engaged and learning. Shipbuilders were able to get information about summer programs for their children and grandchildren, right here at Ingalls.
“There are so many resources out here shipbuilders don’t know about,” said storekeeper Katrina Scott. “It’s very helpful to highlight resources and bring them to us so we can be informed.”
Representatives from the Cities of Pascagoula and Moss Point were on hand talking about their upcoming summer programs and handing out information for Shipbuilders to take home.
The Salvation Army Kroc Center, YMCA and the Boys and Girls Clubs also had representatives at Ingalls with their upcoming programs for this summer.
