Shipbuilding and scouting share many of the same tenets – hard work, dedication, commitment, community engagement and more. To help support the next generation of shipbuilders, Ingalls is proud to host its first-ever multi-badging event for children enrolled in scouts programs across the Gulf Coast.

Shipbuilders are needed to help volunteer for this event from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, at the Maritime Training Academy.

If you are a former scout or if scouting impacted your life in a positive way, let us know how you want to help at the badging event! To volunteer, click here: 2024 Scout Multi-Badge Event Volunteer Form (tfaforms.com)

Scouts will be able to pick from eight areas of interest and earn two badges on that day.

This event will be attended by scouts registered with the Pine Burr Area Council and Mobile Area Council. If your child is a scout in one of these programs, please talk to your troop leader about attending.

Do you volunteer in your community in other ways? Register your volunteerism and get a t-shirt! Fill out this form to tell us how you support your community: Volunteer Hour Submission Form (monday.com)
