On February 1, Ingalls Shipbuilding hosted the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce’s 2024 Leadership Jackson County class for a look inside Ingalls and a tour of the shipyard.
The class consists of 33 community leaders from across Jackson County, including shipbuilders Stephanie Dambrino, manager, Trade Shows & Special, and Joel Myers, manager, Engineering.
Leadership Jackson County class members heard from Lisa Bradley, manager, Corporate Stewardship & Community Relations, about Ingalls’ 85-year legacy, our commitment to the Gulf Coast community, and Ingalls’ focus on employment opportunities for future shipbuilders. After the presentation, the class members loaded onto buses for a glance inside the shipyard and a close-up look at the ships currently being built.
