HOLA celebrates Hispanic Heritage

Published on 10/17/2020

Ingalls and the Hispanic Outreach and Leadership Alliance (HOLA) proudly celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM). HOLA hosted an interview featuring Dr. Javier Gerardo Gómez Cruz, who teaches college-level classes in Spanish and Japanese.

The interview was recorded and will be released this month. Dr. Gomez shares his story of learning new cultures and languages. He also addresses the importance of HHM and contributions of Hispanic Americans. He says, “Collectively we can all have a brighter future if we embrace inclusion and accept each other regardless of our cultures and various backgrounds.”

The interview will be posted on IngallsConnect App this month. We encourage you to open the recording and listen to it any time at your convenience.

This is a non-chargeable event and management-approved PTO or FLEX are required to participate during your scheduled work hours.
