Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule

Ingalls shipbuilders will adhere to the following work schedule for the week of Nov. 24–28, 2025, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Management will inform shipbuilders if the schedule in their specific work area is different from the schedule below.

UNION-REPRESENTED SHIPBUILDERS Nov. 24-25: 8-hour work day - 1st & 2nd shift: Normal hours - 3rd & 4th shift: Work alongside 2nd shift this week only

Nov. 26: 5-hour workday (all time worked in excess of 5 hours is overtime) - 1st shift: 6-11 a.m., no lunch - 2nd shift: 11 a.m.-4 p.m., no lunch - 3rd & 4th shift: 11 a.m.-4 p.m., no lunch

Nov. 27-28: Shipyard will be closed (paid holiday)

All time worked more than 5 regular hours is overtime for shipbuilders. To receive holiday pay, shipbuilders must work 5 regular hours Wednesday, Nov. 26 and 6 regular hours Monday, Dec. 1. Vacation may be taken in 2-, 4- or 8-hour increments.

Please ensure that you enter and approve your time by the end of your shift on Wednesday. Shipbuilders working overtime Thursday and Friday must have time entered and approved by the end of shift on both days.

NON-REPRESENTED SHIPBUILDERS

- Nov. 26: 8-hour workday -- Enter and approve time before leaving

- Nov. 27-28: Shipyard closed (paid holiday)
