The first Shipbuilder Resource Showcase of the year saw a strong turnout as shipbuilders explored the many programs and people ready to support them at Ingalls. From benefits to support services like HERO and Ethics, shipbuilders connected with experts from across the company. As a program of Culture Connectors, the event made it easy to ask questions, build connections and find resources that can make both work and life a little smoother.
“This event is nice because of all the resources and opportunities being in one place. Learning more about the engagement team and service committee is important because I think we should all get involved in the communities where we live. There’s more to Ingalls and life than just work.” - Jean Carlos Gonzales, pipe insulator
“I enjoy participating in the Shipbuilder Resource Showcase. It allows us the opportunity to strengthen our role in fostering an ethical and compliance focused culture by connecting directly with our shipbuilders. It also gives us a platform to highlight our ethics recognition program, Values in Action, and encourage more engagement from our represented employees.” - Jaclyn Duhon, project management, HR&A
