Shipbuilders took full advantage of the last Shipbuilder Resource Showcase of the year, using the event as a chance to get answers, learn about available resources Ingalls has to offer.
With colder weather approaching, many shipbuilders took advantage of the QuadMed and the HII Family Health Center booth to get tips on staying healthy during cold and flu season. Representatives highlighted convenient care options and encouraged shipbuilders to use the Know Your Numbers program to stay ahead of key wellness indicators year-round.
“Being able to come to these Culture Connector events is a great opportunity to meet shipbuilders and share information about our services at their convenience,” said Josh Hall, Quadmed project manager. "It’s always great to interact with everyone and share a smile.”
Singing River Federal Credit Union also participated in the showcase, raising awareness about the upcoming Breast Cancer Awareness Walk and encouraging shipbuilders to join as a volunteer or walker. Shipbuilders shared that the showcase helped them navigate available programs and made it clearer where to turn when they need support.
