USS Ted Stevens (DDG 128) was officially commissioned into the U.S. Navy fleet during a ceremony in Whittier, Alaska.
Built and delivered by HII’s Ingalls Shipbuilding division, DDG 128 is one of the Navy’s newest Flight III Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyers. The ship features the Flight III AN/SPY-6(V)1 radar and Aegis Baseline 10 combat system, providing enhanced capabilities designed to meet evolving threats.
The commissioning marks an important milestone for the crew of USS Ted Stevens and the thousands of Ingalls shipbuilders whose skill, dedication and craftsmanship brought the ship to life.
