In honor of National Security Officer Appreciation Week, Ingalls held a luncheon to show appreciation for the security officers who work tirelessly to keep our shipyard safe.
This served as a token of appreciation for the officers who protect the shipyard. In addition to the luncheon, Raynard Roberson, plant protection officer, was honored with a plaque celebrating his 35 years of service.
“As a security officer, I help ensure the safety of our defense customers, their assets, and the ships under construction or docked on site. These ships play a vital role in safeguarding America’s freedom, so it’s been an honor to serve over the course of 35 years. I take pride in making sure we all go home safe at the end of the day. That's how much protecting shipbuilders means to me.”
- Raynard Roberson, plant protection officer, Infrastructure & Sustainability
