Ingalls will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7, in recognition of Labor Day.
Before you head out for the holiday weekend, take a few minutes to make sure you're ready.
Holiday Pay: All shipbuilders will receive eight hours of holiday pay. Represented shipbuilders must work at least five regular hours before the holiday and six regular hours after the holiday to qualify.
Only shipbuilders who have been pre-approved may work during the holiday break. Management will notify shipbuilders if their work area follows a different schedule.
Complete Your Time: Make sure your time is completed and approved before you leave for the holiday.
Payroll Reminder: Due to the holiday, Ingalls will run payroll on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Beat the Heat: Whether you're working outside or spending the holiday with family and friends, heat stress can happen quickly. Hydrate often and early and know the signs.
