Another powerful Crafted to Lead session is in the books! Shipbuilders walked away with leadership tools that keep our teams strong and our mission moving forward. The latest session specifically focused 2nd shift shipbuilders, however the program is open to all shipbuilders interested in craft leadership. The classes are centered on communication, accountability, expectations and culture – lessons designed to help them succeed in our shipyard.
“The part that stuck with me most was learning about different personality types and leadership styles,” said James Knowles, maintenance electrician. “It helped me understand how different people take in information and has already improved how I communicate with my team.”
