Ingalls Shipbuilding is hosting its third annual Merit Badge Day on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Scouts will have the chance to earn two badges while learning about teamwork, integrity and the shipbuilding careers that keep our mission moving forward.

• Location: Maritime Training Academy
• Who can attend: Scouts ages 12-17
Why it matters:
Last year, more than 70 scouts spent the day engaging in hands‑on activities led by Ingalls employees. We’re excited to welcome even more families this year, and we’re encouraging shipbuilders to register their own scouts – or volunteer day-of and help lead our future shipbuilders!
