Shipbuilders are invited to spend the morning with us on Friday, April 17, for our annual volunteer day at the Pascagoula River Audubon Center (PRAC).
Attending Town Hall that morning? Keep the momentum going and join us afterward for a few hours of giving back. It’s a great way to continue your day by supporting our community and enjoying time outdoors with fellow shipbuilders.
Why it matters
PRAC is a special part of our community – from educating students about the environment to conserving local wildlife to giving families a place to enjoy the beauty of the Pascagoula River. Ingalls has partnered with the center for years, even helping with the kayak launch on the property, and our annual cleanup helps them get ready for their busiest season.
Volunteers will take part in a range of outdoor activities – the specific tasks may vary but expect to help freshen up the grounds and support whatever PRAC needs most as they prepare for upcoming events.
