The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce’s First Responders Luncheon brought together community partners to honor local first responders who serve and protect Jackson County. The luncheon reflected not only the collaboration that keeps our community safe, but also the fierce spirit that defines our local first responders – a reminder to move through each day with gratitude, strength and the ability to find moments of joy even in challenging times.
Ingalls Shipbuilding was proud to participate in the event and recognize the exceptional work of our own first responders. Fire Department Chief Mike May, Director of Medical and Fire Services Charles “Doc” McRaney, and Firefighter Charles Rouse attended on behalf of Ingalls, representing the shipbuilders who quietly and consistently safeguard our shipbuilders, customers and facilities every day.
