Following the YES vote by members of the Pascagoula Metal Trades Council and the United Federation of Special Police and Security Officers, on the proposed Collective Bargaining Agreement, we are proud and excited to share that all Pascagoula Metal Trades Council and United Federation of Special Police and Security Officers represented shipbuilders will receive at least an 18% base wage increase, effective immediately.
What this means for you:
- An 18% wage increase effective immediately, reflected no later than your 12 March paycheck (with some classifications earning up to an additional 10% increase)
- No changes to health plan design
- Greater flexibility in vacation use
- Two additional paid bereavement days
- A secure agreement extending through March 8, 2031
This historic increase reflects the essential role you play in building the most capable ships in the world and provides meaningful wage growth, stability, and certainty for you and your family. Your skill, precision, and commitment directly support the men and women who serve our nation.
From the deckplate through final delivery, your work drives our ability to perform, compete, and meet the growing demands of national shipbuilding. This agreement recognizes both the value of your contributions and the strength of our shared future.
We understand that shipbuilding is demanding work. It requires resilience, craftsmanship, and pride. Day after day, you bring all three. This investment is a clear acknowledgment of that commitment and the critical importance of your role in the mission. We look forward to reaching successful agreements with our other union partners in the near future.
Thank you for your continued focus, professionalism, and dedication to delivering ships that serve and protect our warfighters.
