Ingalls Shipbuilding is monitoring the forecast for freezing temperatures and winter weather for the Pascagoula and Avondale facilities. Shipbuilder safety remains our top priority.

We will share updates on operations through IngallsConnect and official company channels at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 25, as conditions change.

As we prepare for this upcoming winter weather event, remember the 4 P's of Preparedness:

 People - check on your friends and neighbors, especially vulnerable adults and children.

  Pets - bring your pets inside. If you are cold, they are too.

  Pipes - insulate your pipes and leave water dripping to prevent freezing

 Plants - cover your plants or bring them inside.
