In Engineering, Whoville made its return once again. Logan Killen’s team added new touches to the already impressive display, with each team member contributing to a detailed winter scene that even includes a running train and rail bridge.

A little friendly competition added to the fun in Supply Chain Management, where shipbuilders competed for the title of Best Decorated Desk. The challenge turned the workspace into a tropical winter wonderland, with Angela Green’s team taking top honors for their Hawaiian-themed Mele Kalikimaka display. At Ingalls’ COSAL warehouse in Gulfport, procurement planning control rep Carl Beaugez made sure Santa felt right at home, decorating the work area to spread cheer throughout the facility.

Facilities & Maintenance also brought the season to life, welcoming shipbuilders with an inflatable Santa and Rudolph shining bright. Not to be outdone, the Safety team transformed their space with sparkling décor that included Santa’s team of reindeer, led by Brian instead of Rudolph -- a nod to Safety director Brian McVey. The team also added a personal touch by displaying a Christmas tree decorated with ornaments painted by the children of Safety team members.

Upstairs in CSA 3, Manufacturing Services and Coatings also joined in, helping bring holiday cheer to the Operations department.

Thank you to every shipbuilder who helped make the season merry and bright for those around you.
